Manchester United chief executive Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he is in “good talks” with Paul Pogba despite rumors about the player’s future.
The Frenchman has just 11 months to run on his contract at Old Trafford, Paris Saint-Germain has a strong connection to his career during the summer transfer window.
Lionel Messi’s arrival in Paris seems to have cut short Pogba’s chances of moving to the French club this summer, but the club are said to be keen on a free transfer in the summer.
Solskjaer insists there is no word on the World Cup winner, who is expected to be involved in the 2021-22 Premier League opener against Leeds United.
Solskjaer told reporters, “He is a Man United player, one year left on his contract. It is said and written many times, any conversation I have with Paul is positive.”
“He knows what we want and hopefully he will stay in the background and they make decisions. It will be like this with Paul, it’s a media.”
